Continuous efficiency: Why Labelident trusts Lundberg Tech for waste handling

Back in October 2020, Labelident GmbH (Kroschke Group, HQ Braunschweig, Germany) aimed to improve its waste handling process and contacted Lundberg Tech. An All-in-one Unit, the WasteTech 80-80U was rented at the beginning of 2021, tested successfully, and later purchased.
Steffen Friedrich explains:
“The total waste volume is reduced because narrower grids are now possible. Another advantage is the lower waste disposal rates and the fact that our employees no longer have to dispose of the waste themselves.”
As production needs grew, Labelident invested in a central waste handling system in June 2022 for 11 machines, prepared for future expansion for 3 machines. Additional upgrades followed at their production site in Schweinfurt, including a stationary container press, automatic filter system, air return system and summer winter valve. Extensions continued through 2024 and 2025 to support new machines.
Steffen Friedrich continues:
“The main advantage of your system lies in the prevention of downtime and the reduction of grid cracks. The exact amount depends on the specific job and product; we would estimate it at a 10–20% increase in speed.”
