Serving customers across the Midwest, South, and East Coast, they provide versatile printing solutions for both small and large volumes. Known for its focus on quality and reliability, Steinhauser works with leading brands in the beverage, spirits, personal care, and household markets.<\/p>\n<p>Asked what motivated Steinhauser to invest in an automated waste handling solution, Rod Baehner explains:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe had a trim system solution from another supplier in place for many years. However, as our press equipment grew in width and technical capabilities, we found that we had outgrown our previous system. In addition to the negative impact on production speeds, we found that in many cases, the system could not even handle certain types of waste. This forced our operators to wind and dispose of outside the system, negatively affecting our productivity and presenting a safety issue for our operations team.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To further strengthen their production efficiency and waste handling, Steinhauser chose to implement a Lundberg Tech solution. Finding the right supplier was vital. When asked why, Baehner is direct:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe were very strategic in our selection of Lundberg Tech to be our new trim system supplier. We had a marked increase in our uptime and eliminated the need to wind rolls. Additionally, we nearly doubled the volume of waste in our compactor due to the chipping features of the system.
