Enhanced waste handling improves efficiency at S.E.W. North Filtration<\/h2>\n

With many years of expertise in air filtration, S.E.W. North Filtration A\/S<\/a> offers a comprehensive range of dust filtration, gas turbine, and pulse cleaning systems to customers worldwide. As one of the leading high-tech companies in the industry, they prioritise flexibility as a core value, reflected in their motto, “Our experience is your quality”, which has contributed to their global success.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the company began seeking a solution to optimise the waste handling process for the four production machines, aiming to enhance overall efficiency.<\/p>\n

Lundberg Tech, a leading provider of waste handling solutions, proposed a system designed to capture, cut, convey, and collect waste more efficiently. In February 2024, Lundberg Tech installed a WasteTech 200 All-in-one Unit<\/a> along with two Granulator GR200s<\/a> at S.E.W. North Filtration, aiming to reduce waste and optimise production flow.<\/p>\n

Lars Pedersen, Sales Director of S.E.W. North Filtration A\/S, highlights the significant improvements the new system has brought:<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore we installed the waste handling solution from Lundberg Tech, we had to stop production once a day per machine to manage the waste. This was not only disruptive for our operators but also reduced our productivity. One of our goals was to reduce the waste volume, and we’ve achieved that. Now, we only need to empty the waste bags every third or fourth day”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pedersen further explains how the system has positively impacted the working environment:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had the Lundberg Tech WasteTech for eight months, and we are pleased with the difference it has made. Not only do we have more space between machines due to reduced waste accumulation, but the noise levels in our factory have also decreased.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lundberg Tech\u2019s extensive global experience, having installed over 6,000 systems and 12,000 Granulators, played a crucial role in the success of this installation.<\/p>\n

Lars Pedersen shares the overall benefits:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe now have a highly efficient waste handling solution that has significantly improved our daily operations. I estimate we save around five minutes per hour per machine when changing rolls, allowing us to focus more on delivering quality products instead of wasting time on handling waste.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
