Matthias Paper Corporation upgraded to a reliable waste handling solution

When Matthias Paper Corporation was preparing to move into a new facility they wanted to upgrade their waste handling setup and replace an existing Venturi system that had proven less reliable over time.

After visiting another site equipped with three Lundberg Tech All-in-one Units and hearing positive feedback from the team, Matthias Paper Corporation decided to explore a solution for their own operation. Following discussions with Lundberg Tech, Matthias Paper Corporation chose a compact central waste handling system featuring two Granulators to process paper waste from their slitters.

A smooth process from start to finish

“We were impressed with Lundberg Tech’s responsiveness throughout the entire project. From the quoting phase to installation and follow-up support, communication was clear, expectations were well defined, and the entire process was handled professionally,” says John R. Matthias Jr., Product Specialist at Matthias Paper Corporation, USA.

The new system installed in June 2026 has significantly improved waste handling efficiency while reducing both waste volume and manual handling requirements.

Exactly what we were looking for

“Working with Lundberg Tech gave us a smooth and straightforward experience from start to finish. We were looking for a simple, reliable solution to improve our waste management process, and that is exactly what we got. The system has dramatically reduced our waste volume and manual handling, and we have been very pleased with the results,” concludes John R. Matthias Jr.
