With an automated matrix and trim removal system, you can increase your overall throughput. That’s because you remove the need to stop and remove matrix waste rolls. On a traditional label press, you wind your matrix on rolls. Often, the presses need to slow down as the matrix roll grows. 

But by using a vacuum to convey the material away from your press, you can obtain a constant web tension – so you don’t need to slow down your label press. The constant tension from the vacuum also reduces the risk of the matrix breaking during production.

Everyone knows that matrix rolls from label presses can be big, bulky and sticky. With an automated waste handling system, the waste is removed directly at the press. That eliminates the need for operators to manually handle the heavy matrix rolls.
