Trouble Shooting

1. Reduced suction power

    1. Filter is clogged and needs cleaning/replacement/service
    2. The ventilator is turning the wrong way around
    3. Separator screen is blocked with material
    4. The frequency converter is set incorrectly or is out of the settings made
    5. Material is blocked up in the pipestem – could be due to edges inside pipes / bends
    6. Waste material is blocking part of the separator screen or the whole screen

2. The waste material is not cut

      1. The Granulator is not in operation
      2. The rotor is turning the wrong way around
      3. The Granulator needs refurbishment – grinding of knives
      4. The Granulator needs re-adjustment
      5. Air speed in the system is too low

3. Granulator is blocked

    1. The Granulator is not in operation
    2. The rotor on the Granulator is turning the wrong way around
    3. The Granulator is not cutting the material – needs adjustment / refurbishment
    4. Insufficient amount of silicon oil (if handling material containing adhesives)
    5. Motor protection is set too low
    6. Edges inside silencer/pipes/bends before the Granulator
    7. Air speed in the system is too low

4. Waste material is building up inside the separator or the connection from separator

    1. Material is static charged
    2. Insufficient amount of silicone oil (if handling material containing adhesives)
    3. Too much air entering the air separator
    4. Incorrect setting of the balance ventilator (separator should have a slight overpressure)
    5. Unit is not or incorrect grounded

5. Bridgebuilding of waste material at the inlet of the WasteCompactor

    1. The WasteCompactor is not in operation
    2. Pieces of waste are too large/long
    3. Material is static charged
    4. Insufficient amount of silicone oil (if handling material containing adhesives)
    5. Unit is not or incorrect grounded

6. WasteCompactor is blocked

    1. The pressure plate is set for too much pressure
    2. Pieces of waste are too large/long
    3. Motor protection is set too low
    4. The WasteCompactor has been in operation while no material is fed into the compactor
